FAQ
1. What are thermal breaks or thermally broken windows?
Although insulated glass units (IGUs), commonly known as double glazing, improve the thermal performance of aluminium windows, the aluminium frames remains good heat conductors and the weakest link. Thermal breaks separate the frame into two separate interior and exterior pieces joined with a polyamide to reduce temperature transfer. In addition thermal breaks can have the added benefit of reducing sound transmittance by dampening vibration. Our thermal breaks are manufactured by Technoform Bautec, a leading German supplier.

7. What procedures you have in place for quality control?
We chose our suppliers very carefully and paid special attention to their quality control protocols and record. We send our quality standard document to the factory so that they understand our requirement. Before each shipment leaves the factory, we send our quality inspector to the factory to make sure everything is up to our standard.
8. Should I choose windows purely based on its energy efficiency rating?
Question: should we buy a car purely based on its fuel efficiency? Then no one will buy BMW X5 or Ford Territory. Energy efficiency is important, but we think when choosing windows and doors for your home, a balanced approach should be considered: design and appearance, cost and energy efficiency. Some low end builders range windows have good energy ratings because they have very thin frames and use reveals as insulation. Visit our showroom and have a real feel of our products.
